The rooms are decent and clean. Most of the staff is very courteous and approachable. Reason for 3 stars has to do with few things- asking me to find the other hotel room key which they need back before I could check out. I can’t remember the last time a hotel asked for their key card from me anywhere else in the world. I did give back one of the room keys I had on hand and the other one was either placed somewhere is room by my kids or returned, not sure. Secondly, their restaurant was closed I assumed due to timing and waited for their opening time, but then staff looked at us weirdly, however we didn’t realize it was permanently closed. And I can guess why because the food quality is mediocre at best in the hotel for breakfast or dinner at their other common restaurant. Highlight was seeing the bats from the cricket team. Wife wanted me to add that there were no wash clothes in bathroom. Staff is trying hard, but may need improved leadership to make a big difference from changing few small habits that can really impact a guest experience.
